AUCTION HOME

Welcome to the page of the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture (KIAC) in Dawson City, Yukon, Canada and our ARTIST IN RESIDENCY PROGRAM FUNDRAISER AUCTION

THE AUCTION IS NOW CLOSED!

We thank all the generous artists and bidders for their support in the success of this auction.

Since its inception in 2001, the KIAC residency program has hosted over 100 exceptional contemporary artists, filmmakers and musicians from around the globe in our Macaulay House building. In celebration of this milestone–and to further develop this innovative program in the far Canadian North–we asked many of our past residents to donate a small work for this auction. All proceeds will go to the maintenance of the Macaulay House residence, and the expansion of this program.

Each year the Klondike Institute welcomes 14-18 artists to Dawson City for our program, which also supports the ODD Gallery and the annual thematic project The Natural & The Manufactured, as well as the School of Visual Arts in Dawson, the Dawson City International Short Film Festival, and the Dawson City Music Festival.
